About the event
Ulana Museum is delighted to partner with renowned cultural practitioner Kumu Kekai Naone for our upcoming inaugural educational workshop, Ulana Lau Hala For All. The event aims to contribute to the perpetuation of traditional Hawaiian practices of weaving with hala. We will be welcoming twenty learners of all skill levels to engage in the processes of harvesting, preparing, and plaiting. Registration fee includes venue and meals for all three days.
